La Matrice is the place where things are born. Here, time does the work. A stone farmhouse from the early 1900s in the Ligurian hinterland—cool, bright, and surrounded by greenery and silence. The space The 100sqm cottage accommodates up to 4 guests: one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the spacious living area, which includes a dining table, a study corner, and a fully equipped kitchen. Between the living area and the bedroom, there is a room with a large antique wardrobe available for guests. At the entrance, a renovated bathroom with a shower. Access is via a private small balcony, ideal for reading or relaxing outdoors. The cottage also features high-speed WiFi suitable for video calls, a dedicated workspace, air conditioning, a television, and a washing machine. On-site parking is available, and the beach is within easy reach. Guest access Access to the cottage is through a private garden and courtyard. For any use of the outdoor spaces, we kindly ask you to speak with us first. Other things to note La Matrice was born from the dream of Elisa, from Piedmont, and Andrea, from Lombardy, who chose to change their lives and rediscover the Ligurian hinterland. They live on the property with a six-year-old Dobermann, friendly and accustomed to guests, and four hens. The cottage spaces remain fully independent, separated by a small gate to ensure privacy and tranquility. We are located in Frazione Castelli, known as "U Burgu," a small historic hamlet overlooking the valley, where traces of the ancient Lengueglia castle can still be found. La Matrice is also a food experience: on the property there is a home restaurant, where guests can book lunches, dinners, and curated experiences such as picnic baskets and km0 breakfasts. For those who love walking, we are happy to suggest routes and excursions. Please note that events are not allowed on the property.
